Q: I want to buy a house or two. Does it cost more to buy a house in another province?

The wife seems to think that it will cost more money to move to another province to buy a house. Something about hukous or something. I want to buy a house or two in the countryside in a different province. Realistically, what issues will we face?

Keep in mind that I'm aware of the one-house rule, but I will be purchasing the other through another family member. I have that part taken care of.

I don't want to hear about the home being taken away because I'm a foreigner. I want to know how I can buy a house in another province for my Chinese family members.

It'll cost more when they kick you out.

the further away from a city the cheaper it is  but the services and supplies are further away too    and with all the new changes to the law it might be taken off you at a latter time   better off doing it at home or somewhere you know is stable and secure

why not wait until the economy has collapsed ? The 'buy high, sell low' strategy is proven to not be viable
