Q: I want to learn the "Morning Exercises" routine

The routine that little kids do at school.

Are there different variations on it?

Where can I find it online?

You mean the "广播体操" or Radio Calisthenics routine. There are loads of versions of it, the first one from 1951. I couldn't find a good video for it, but this is quite nice as it has the original broadcast:

I was taught this by a Taiji teacher years ago and it is quite fun to do. Initially this was produced for Workers, but then adapted for Middle School as well. There are 9 official versions I think, the last one from 2011 I believe as the Chinese Gov was going to make it compulsory again. Heres a good description of the history:

Yeah we did that at one of those schools. I thought it was taichi or kungfu. THey have fun movements you just need the music to go along with it. Some public schools do, have this.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
