If I have not told my clients that I hired designer for creating website, I would just build a site myself on weebly.con or wix.com. Now my clients are expecting and asked when my site will be launched.

I regret that I told my clients I hired foreign designer for site, maybe now they have high expectation to see my site. If I build it myself, it would probally let them down. I have those good concepts for site building, but there should be some professional people who knows how to write code, deal Photoshop and tools to help make my concept look good. With this consideration, I must hire a designer or a design team to do it.

The only choice is how much I should spend on my site. The previous designer who delayed my site actually gave good advice, he suggested me use existing site platform to design a website and he will help with those tools, this way will minimize the cost from designing a completely new website, this way the cheap website will still look good.

I really regret of deleteing his from wechat, he delays, but his suggestion is good, as long as he can get me site with my main feastures (products) launched after 2 monthes, I can wait for 4 monthes for him to get the full site finished. I know he got many things to deal, he would do my site at his spare time, that whole site including simple logo design II said only around 12000rmb, I think it is a better fit for a startup business. And I can improve the site after my business grows more. My boss's site is crappy, but he still manages to hire more than 10 employees and own a company. Sure a good site does help, but success is the mixture of many factors. My boss understand product very well, he can calculate mould cost in few minutes and he owns a lot of moulds.

My profit for my model business is around 25K, which is still reasonable and actually not bad for a new business. I do not think a lot of startups can earn this money during the first few monthes of starting their business. Think it in a good way, the 25K is from 4 clients, they did not buy lots and I keep the profit low for one client because he is a trader and I am also a trader. I'm being more realistic, you can't think of making a lot of money while just starting your business, It is pretty good already for me to make my ends meet after setting up this new business for only about 4 monthes. Since the profit is from 4 clients, not just one client, I have 4 chances to get repeated order, don't you think so?

Beiseds in scale model industry, many clients tend to not buy lots, because companies buy those to gift to their clients as marketing gifts, a lot do not need to buy a lot at one time. So you have to connect my business to the certain industry before you think I did not make enough during the few monthes.

I am making some samples for a France client, I am negotiating further cooperation with a European client who we already placed me order.

My situation is very healthy for a new business. That is why I do not need an invtor, investor does not understand the industry and my business, they will just push me to get sales done fast so they can earn money back. They will increase my pressure and increase the workload of communicating with them. I feel good to do everything at my pace and I know and I understand my own business and I know I got everything all going well.

25K is from my new business-scale model, I earned some other money from my side chemical business. You have to pay attention of what I wrote. I said that if I pay 25K+ my company management fee, that will take all the profits I earned during the past 4-5 monthes. Management fee includes accountant fee, bank financial account fee, product development fee, marketing investigation cost, foreign model hiring, marketing writer hiring, professional photographer, product photo shooting.,etc. For instance, I pay photographer 1000rmb for an hour, a photographer who won award for commercial shooting, each foreign model 500rmb for an hour commercial shooting.

I only have one client who buys chemical from me every year(last year and this year). Only have one chemical client because I did not even try to develop chemical business. I do chemical business because this client who I took from the company I just worked for three monthes placed me order last year and this year, so why not take the money when it comes? I want to focus on my scale model business first before I focus more on my other side business.

You by saying "One other thought...I know you have outgoings/costs but if your profit from the last few months is only 25000 then you business needs to grow more..."By saying  ONLY 25000rmb, lol, obviously you throught it is too less, you think running a new business is like to make money fast over a night. Which is ridiculous, pls go ask any entrepreneur who has run a company with new business, let them tell you business doesn't just happen over a night. I only run my new business for about 3-4 monthes, during the 3-4 monthes, I got about 8 orders, I gave the bigger orders to the company I work for and leave the small order to myself, and the company doesn't even invest much on getting customers, in this situation, not a lot of people can achieve what I achieved, all the entrepreneurs I know told me that I did it pretty good. I also have an upcoming project going on with the new client I just developed. 

And I have to spend a lot of time on developing business for the company I work for, I run my business at limited time. No offense, it is really hard to communicate with a person who isn't an entrepreneur. Because they just don't understand it.

Yes by doing it that way you can make sure your business looks cheap and unprofessional from the start. First impressions count and there will be customers who choose to not do business with you because it looks cheap and you will find it very difficult to win them over later. You are aiming to do business with "western" businesses, so do business the western way, not the cheapskate Chinese way.

The western clients suggest me to not spent much on website lol. Herr you claim like only Chinese do cheap site. A lot Chinese supplier's site is very crappy but those factories have a lot of money. I suppose success isn't just come from one factor.

I ageee what you said. I can put all the profit I just earned on investment to keep earning more. A startup new business doesn't have to pocket those profits just earned during the short few monthes, the money should go back to investment. Plus I have good salary to support my living cost and I have safe fund to make sure I won't be starving if business failed. I have been keeping investing on other stuffs for operating my company(those I mentioned on my post earlier) The choice is which should be my priority when comes to investment with those money. Cheap website+list product on alibaba or more expensive website and do alibaba investment after I made more.
