Q: If I recently had a health check up done in Taiwan, do I need to get a new one in HK for my Z visa?

I am going to Hong Kong on the 16th to apply for my Z visa, and I am not really wanting to go through another bought of hospital examinations. So I am curious if I can use my health check from Taiwan as a substitute for the one that I would have to do in Hong Kong?

If not then what is the cost of the health check in Hong Kong? The check up in Taiwan cost me 1550Twd (52 USD) is it similar or more or less expensive? I am not sure if I get reimbursed  for this check up or not.

edit~

I am excedingly aware of the status of Taiwan in relation to China. However, the reason that I am asking this 2 fold, but the main reason is I am arriving with a strict budget and if I am able to avoid one more unneeded fee that's perfect.

Health check-up exams are valid only from approved doctors or hospitals.  I doubt that one done in Taiwan (of all places) will be accepted in Hong Kong by Chinese Embassy there.  Mine was also around $50 US dollars when I had it done.

Basic Health  Exam in HK cost  around $2300 HK. Make sure you get proper form from Chinese Embassy in HK, and give it to MD in the Hospital.

Then, you'll return to China, you must do the same Medical exam in here for around 400 Rmb.
