Q: If it hasn't happened to you what is the worst thing you've seen someone find in their food?

I was at Mcdonald's and a guy was complaining that there was a long piece of string in his burger. He took out his bag opened up the burger and started to lift a string that had been quite long. That's got to be the worst thing I've seen someone find in their food.

I was once eating "Huang dou" which is a kind of small, round nut. Suddenly, I felt  something "cylindrical" between my fingers. It was a dried rat turd.....

Hulk:

Soybean de la Rat Feces.

Huangdou = 黄豆 = Soybean.

I ate a piece of plastic that was baked into my Pizza Hut pizza once.

I almost swallowed it before I discovered it and spit it out...no doubt a piece from the top of the bag they snipped to drop on the toppings.

My gf refused to let me complain though.

There was some kind of bug in my fried rice. Not sure if it was a baby cockroach or what. It was at least as big as a fly.

piece of  steal wool. other times some hard objects. always chew carefully in china.

Hulk:

This is the best advice here.

I used to chomp down on my food, as if I were eating in America. Big mistake; lots of dishes have hidden bones, glass, shards of pottery, etc. Do little bites, and then, after you've confirmed there's nothing bad in it, chomp and scarf it down.

  I've found a small cockroach in my food twice, both in large, respectable restaurants. It occurred to me then that eating in smaller restaurants makes more sense. Less places for the little buggers to hide. It's all protein though.
