Q: If someone here got punk'd would they take it too seriously?

You've seen that show Punk'd with Ashton Kuscher? I was wondering if they did something like that here if they would take it too seriously and just go ballistic or could they play it out.

Here are a few examples of what happened on punk'd: They took Justin Bieber's vehicle and he thought the real cops ticketed him. Could they do that here without someone just completely going ape $hit on somebody?

I vote ballistic - I can't see many people taking the epic loss of face too well.

Scandinavian:

I agree, but at the same time wonder if it is possible to lose face based on a prank. I mean that is like an actor playing a role where he gets a bucket of water thrown at him, will also lose face in real life for that.

MissA:

Not as long as everyone clearly understands he's an actor. In pranks, that's not the case.

They'd probably have a delayed response of fainting (after they figured out wtf was going on), then ask for compensation for emotional distress.

I think the idea of being punked out is a prison concept where intimidation and physical strength play a huge role in the prison system. Most normal people would try to avoid a fight.

I've thought about this as well while watching prank shows on american tv or on youtube.

No, I don't think most Chinese people could handle it.  I feel like a lot of Chinese people can't even handle regular jokes that poke fun at them.
