Q: If u leave university and move to another place is it going to affect ur visa processing in future?

I was studying Chinese language in Shanghai until I received an offer to work here in Beijing.  I am going back to my country for Z visa soon...so here is my question

1) Can you change your X visa into Z visa when I still have months left on X visa?

2) When I contacted my university they said " they will remove my registration at the university!" so what will happen to my visa status???

3) Any suggestions and help is warmheartedly welcomed. Smile

1. You will need to go back to your home country to get the new Z visa. Of late, visa laws have been changing and most likely, all visas will have to be registered in the home country's Chinese embassy. HK visa runs will soon be a thing of the past. In any case, you are going back to get it. The few months left in your X visa is solely for the purpose of study, not work.

2. When your school registration is canceled, obviously you are no longer a student. Your school will probably get the X visa changed into a L visa for 30 days for you to pack up and leave.

The above are some of my experiences (and that of friends). Do note that each province, city, township and district have their own interpretation of visa rules. I have had some strange visa experiences, so who's to tell which is correct? The best bet is to go head in and you'll find out. Just make sure you don't break any rules because you may get yourself barred from entry for a number of years.

A:It's up to the employer if they want to hire you that's fine most cities today require you to take a health check every year when renewing the working visa if you pass the health check and you get your visa renewed each year I know teachers that are in their 70s and they're still doing great -- ironman510
