Q: If you get an infectious desease will you be deported?

Hi

I have a friend that can not renew his work permit because in his medical check shows that he got kidney stones, that is not a serious illnes. So I am wondering what can happen If you get sick with something more serious like an infectious disease, SDT, tuberculosis or whatever. It is mandatory by law that if you get an infectious disease or a serious illness like cancer you must to leave the country and can not return heres even If you recover in your country?

Thank you

I know that if they pick up HIV or Hepatitis on your medical check you'll be gone within about 2 days.

No, you'll get long term Residence permit from the fast lane,  so you'll be able to spread your disease all around China.

Anybody can quickly fill me in on the term 'stupid' in English language?

You may imagine that in China, everyone is so immaculate and virtuous that the thought only of such a possibility would emaciate the Chinese Halo. You need to understand at once that Chinese people do not know of intercourse outside of the family.  They never enhance their attention on cheating. They never have an entertained second woman beside the very wife. Men are so focused on learning how to make the most benefit out of the loyalty and prove that success results from happily ever after a married man and woman family.  They will never cheat. That is a quintessential cultural characteristic.  It is an anthropological DNA trait it cannot be discussed.  The sight of degradation it is unbearable for the innocent creatures morally fine-tuned for 5000 years of China history.  Yet, here you come with the challenge that could trigger the butterfly effect, not only in China but throughout the whole Universe. What you're asking is equivalent to the call for the Apocalipsis. You wouldn't let that happen, would you?  You wouldn't hurt such a deep sense of purity China has grasped for thousands of years, would you? I am sure you would not unleash such social and moral unrest.

That was a stretch ,,, he he.

The thingy (to get rid of the infected laowai) is not confined only to China. It is the same policy in every country around the world.

Now, at some countries you can enter it freely, and without medical exam, but in China and Russia most nationalities need visa.

In Russia, you won't get final visa stamp unless you provide negative HiV test.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
