Q: If you were to act as an ESL recruiter how would you keep things ethical?

A thought's been running through my head lately: setting up as a recruiter for reputable schools in China by touring the universities back home. What do you think might be the problems/difficulties of doing this and how might you avoid the problems of distrust people rightly have about recruiters to the ESL business in china?

I have recruited for current and past employers. To remain ethical is easy - do not promise or allude to anything other than the facts.

The hard part is preventing the schools here from reneging on promises at the last moment AND having to deal with potential teachers who also will back out at the last moment.

You've got to be able to be fair and keep up the appearance of loyalty to two very different cultural viewpoints.

If I were you, I'd only stick with finding qualified teachers for accreditted programs rather than just any ole EFL program.
