Q: Indicating, to run a red light... WTF??
Why??? To me, it just looks stupid! Is there something in the road laws that somehow makes this more legal than just running the red? And that stupid little deviation before going through.... I don't get it!
I'm not clearly sure what you are talking about. What do people do to indicate they are gonna run the red light? I was about to cross the street when it was green for the pedestrians and red for the cars this car comes flying down the road not stopping at all. I had a look at who was driving it was a chinese lady a young one at that. I guess she was late for English class or forgot to feed her cat at home. It's ridiculous!

They indicate to turn right, sometimes even deviate to the right, then keep on going through the red light. "They" usually referring to taxis.
They are trying to avoid or trick the red light cameras.
I see it all the time, but usually they will pull into the oncoming traffic lane to the left if no cars are coming until through the intersection, then cut back into the normal lane, just to avoid the camera. If its a busy road then they do this on the right side.
Also the lights here take a horribly long time to change, at least where I am, even if there is no traffic.
