Q: Interesting places to volunteer in Beijing?

I'm only in Beijing for one more month but would like to do a bit of volunteering.  A bit difficult because I have a fulltime job, but my weekends are free.  Any suggestions?  PS - I don't really want to teach English.

There are loads of animal shelters that need volunteers such as the Beijing Human and Animal Environmental Education Center. www.animalschina.org

 

Or you could volunteer at an orphanage or teach English to migrant children. There are some more tips here in this article:
