Q: Ironman - the internet warrior?
Anyone else been getting sarcastic and mildly abusive comments from this person?
I can't really understand what he/she/it's problem is.
I put this on here because I asked them via PM and they declined to answer me.
Mike - Are the comments made publicly in reply to your posts on the board? Or are you getting personal messages?
If the former, I wouldn't be too concerned about it. It's just a board and everyone is anonymous or pretending to be somebody they really aren't. So don't lose sleep over it.
If the latter, I'd lodge a formal complaint with the mysterious non-entity which governs this "forum".
Or counterattack.

It is only in the forum, this 'person' has not had the balls to actually get in contact with me and explain why they are being such a pain. I am often sarcastic here but, what they are saying seems to be quite vicious.
I have complained about their posting but, nothing done as of yet.
I may seem a little sensitive here but I am just annoyed and I don't want to lower myself to ranting attacks.

Mike - I understand your position and you're right in not wanting to engage in a back-and-forth dick-swinging contest with another board member. But, again, don't take it to heart and don't let it ruin your mood. Remember this: no one here is real. Every avatar you see is not the person behind it. Let it go and laugh it off. And never take it personally. I mean, how can you? We're not dealing with real people. Just a bunch of Freudian ids. So, have fun with it.

I got the same from this guy after my first question posted the day before yesterday. Had never been here before and had what I thought was a legitimate question. I put my number in my question, but was not aware that people frown upon such a thing. I thought this was a way for foreigners like myself to communicate. What I gather by his use of fisted and banned he is immature. I chose to ignore him and modified my original post. I am new to this country and this website. I would not worry. Its frustrating that people like him are rude, but there are plenty of nice people here foreign and chinese alike that one idiot matters little in the grand scheme of things. There's always one in every crowd and I guess he signed up for the post. I wish him good luck.
In my opinion sarcasm is a higher art form - if they don't get it it's their loss. Although they'll never realize they're missing anything either...

It is a case, however, of it not being warranted.

You're never too old as the internet never ages, even if your body does, the internet talk doesn't have an age. I really hope you are NOT teacher.
