Q: Is it easier to get a US Tourist Visa from an embassy outside China?
Many people have been through the grueling process of trying to get a US Visa of any kind for a Chinese citizen or tourist.
Is it possible and easier / more successful chance to get a tourist visa by going to a different US Embassy outside of China, such as, Thailand, Japan, S Korea, Singapore, etc? Is it necessarily another option? or is it basically the same process just at a different embassy location? Has anyone tried doing this with any luck (with a *Chinese' passport*)?

I don't have Chinese passport, and I don't need tourist visa for USA.
All US Embassies (or any other country for that matter) around the world grant visas by unified policies (Law).
There are no differences between US Embassy in Vietnam or in China: 'same requirements in any US Embassy for the same nationals.'
You'll might save some time, because US Embassies in China are packed with people in queue, what might not be the same in US Embassy in Philippines.
Let's take a second to look at this logically. So a Chinese citizen will have better luck going to Thailand to get a visa to the states? Because although they applying to go to the same country, with the same rules and protocols, being in a different country will help? And being in Thailand applying for the visa helps prove their strong ties to China?

This is the Chinese logic way of trying to make things easier for themselves.
Though its it's also the same method used by some foriegners to get longer term visas for china.
Unless they're currently residing in and planning on flying from the country they're applying in to the US otherwise it might look even more suspicious and cause more red flags than applying in their country of residence.
