Q: Is it easy for Chinese to get visas to go abroad?
I'd like to take my girlfriend back to the States to meet my family...
What kind of documents are needed? Has anyone ever had an experience like this?

most important is your bank balance . if you have more than enough then the embassy will never bother to paste that visa on your passport /
also it would be really easy if you were taiwanese .
If you are not married and she informs them she wants to visit your family the answer is no. If she goes to the embassy without saying she has an American boyfriend, the answer is yes. Then she will need a letter of invitation, $3,000 US dollars for every week she wants to stay and 120,000rmb at the Citic Bank of China that they will freeze until her return.
Because most of them do go and never come back and thats always their target.Can you tell her you guys will never live in state?and see what the reaction will be?
