Q: Is it easy to find chinese cuisine cooking schools (for foreigners) in the big cities in China?
I live in changsha, and most restaurants i go to on the reg will let me watch them at work, one time the old guy was cooking and i told him i like to cook and i gave him a smoke and he handed me a wok. i learned a lot that day, plus i made a good friend. now when my friends come over they bring food and they expect good Chinese food from me. i went back to the restaurant last week and i made macaroni and cheese, peach cobbler and stuffed manicotti (he had an oven for bread and i needed to bribe him to let me use it)
