From what I read on answers.echinacities.com Chinese people are somewhat racist, except for Westerners. They stare at black people (Ludovico once said they ask for passport photo just to see the color of your skin when you apply for job), and even have prerogatives toward Russian (I think because they are considered from the East). They definitely don't like Japanese.

And according to a lot of Chinese people, may them be my minions or people i met, they believe ROA people are inferior to them. They don't like muslims too. I never heard anything about latinos, though.

So you would be strongly prejudiced when looking for a job in China if you're not a Westerner or a Mexican. Oh, and by the way, Mexicans restaurants in Beijing are absolutely delicious!

Rest Of Asia.

It's true, Chinese look down upon Indians, Philippians, Indonesians, Japanese etc.

Basically anyone who has darker skin than themselves, they think are trash.

China is the most racist country I have ever had the misfortune of visiting.

Hello, moderator! Waiting to see this post deleted... racists!

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
