I would really appreciate advice from someone who has recently travelled in Yunnan. I have one week to spend in Yunnan and am trying to piece my itinerary together. I plan to first travel from Kunming to Dali and then make my way up to Shangri-la. I need to catch a return flight from Kunming a week later however so I'm wondering if this plan will be too stressful and just mainly spent on the road. Should I just opt to do the touristy dali-lijang route instead?
