What sort of job.It really depends in what area you are looking.

well pretty much ESL? i keep checking online job for china most likely its about English Teacher im not well experience about it :)
really, there are a shot load of jobs, stop being picking find a job at a uni in a small shotty city for 1 or 2 years then you can work anywhere you want
its easy to find jobs in China, if you have no degree its a little harder but still easy...no experience and no degree and many employers will think twice before offering you a job, this might mean you have a longer interview process and need to prove more that you are capable but still you can get a decent job just might take a little longer searching...
If your a native speaking white woman you will get a teaching job easy no matter experience etc white man is second any colours in your skin will have a bad effect on the ease of finding work but still easy enough just dont expect the highest end salaries...
get and online TEFL and its as good as 6 months experience in most employers eyes...
Main factor for finding quality teaching work in China is how you look and your native English ability...
Native speaker -
White women you can get 10,000rmb easy with 1 year experience with 1000's of offers for less
Black man native speaker should be able to get 7000/8000rmb with 3 years experience
good places to look are this sites jobs section and Daves ESL cafe China jobs section

thanks ill keep looking and try harder yeah i have a bachelors degree im just a lil bit worried since i dont have teaching experience yet but really i appriciate the heads up thanks much :)
It's relatively easy to get a decent or even good job if you're qualified. The real pain is jumping through the government's hoops to get your work visa. Mine's been refused twice after they made me wait 2 months so I'm just getting a 1 year tourist visa.
gracezeee:
hi i was wondering what are the reason why you were having hard time with your working visa? im planning to get a tourist visa first and apply for a job once i get there?

There's too many foreigners going to the city I was applying for so unless you have at least 2 years teaching experience then you're not getting a work visa.
If you are looking for English teaching jobs there are plenty. It depends on what you want to do, where you want to live, do you want to work with foreigners, etc. what is your educational background?
gracezeee:
i dont mind working with anyone im fine with it im an IT graduate with bachelors degree, yeah i prefer sichuan chengdu :)
teaching jobs are big here, but the school are really picky. they dont normally issue work permit to non-native speakers of english. tough luck... try internship, u might get a chance.
Most of you said that it is easy while I have to try a lot to find one. Perhaps, It is because I am not a native English speaker.
Anyone has any opinion for a boy like me: Vietnamese, Bachelor of English linguistics, any job in South China... see more as below:
