Q: Is it just me, or has Beijing's Air Quality Been Pretty Awesome Recently?

Maybe I'm just falling for all of the propaganda about how China's starting to put "sustainable development" before "anything-goes economic growth", but I feel like Beijing's air quality has been fairly consistent in its awesomeness for the past few months.

There have definitely been more blue sky days this summer than I remember for last summer. Am I wrong? Are there any reputable reports confirming my suspicion?

seems like the weather always clears up in china during the summer season, but i know the government in beijing is thinking and trying so many things to try and improve the situation in bejing cos after all its not just that people say its terrible you can actually see the dirty air in pictures, they are trying to limit the cars on the road,  stopping people from owning to many cars and most importantly stopping people from using a car for such a small trip, ow and i heard an experiment, where some people can only drive on odd days and others on even days im not sure how this would work but at least they are trying something

It's the wind that helps clean the air, not the government.

I noticed the same thing in Suzhou. I hope it last as the grey skies are my biggest complaint about China.
