Q: Is it legal to get kicked out of the apartment abruptly?

My boss asked me to leave all of a sudden. What should be done in this case?
PS: I have a valid work permit and residence permit.

As pointed out above, your question is lacking in details but I'd say if your contract has ended and the apartment is supplied by the employer they have every right to tell you to get out. They probably need it for whoever is replacing you.

You did not give enough information to provide a rational response to your question.

Why did the boss terminate you?

Was the apartment provided to you by the employer?

Are you sure your work permit and residence permit is still valid or cancelled by the employer?

What is stated in the contract you signed?

Far too many questions to be answered to help you.

As long as your contract has ended, they have the right, unless otherwise.
