Just be quick, you can flick small pieces of food like peas from the bowl to your mouth, kinda like a slap shot to show some class, or just put the bowl to your mouth and shove the food in with one chop stick.

You could probably find some Chinese food that you can eat with one chopstick, but for the majority of the food I would have to say no! You could probably use one chopstick for Kung Pao Chicken or some type of food like that.

sure,,, in SE Asia it is common to hold plate up to mouth and rake food into mouth, so u really only need one if that's all u can get.
