Q: Is it possible to overdose on Chinese medicine?

Just wondering since it's supposedly made out of pure herbs and other natural ingredients.

the word supposedly is what will kill you.

If you look into what is really in the stuff you will find that some of the TCM "medicines" you can get actually contain substantial does of western medicine. The "herbs" are there for the long term fix and the western medicine is there to quickly feel better.

Most of TCM is pure hokum and just a way of exploiting those who cannot afford proper treatment.
