Q: Is it possible to work in China as a teacher even though my experience is ESL teacher for a year?

do you mean that you have been an ESL teacher and want to work as a subject (not ESL) teacher?

Unless you are proficient (fluent) in Chinese, you would probably not be considered for any job other than that of an ESL teacher.

to be honest, maybe try looking for a job in any other country than China.
I could not recommend China as a place to work.

1-year of working experience isn't enough!

 

It must be 2-years of working experience or ... I can't remember now, but I think is TEFL certificate, so "2-years of working experience or TEFL certificate"

 

Have a search for 'English teaching work in China requirements" or similar.
