Q: Is it really that easy to get on TV here?

I know that a few years ago it was, but I'm not sure if that's still the case nowadays...

It depends on the city. 1st & 2nd tier, not so easy anymore. 3rd tier where there are few to no foreigners, pretty easy.

Compared to the West, it's still easy as long as you know someone who knows someone. I have yet to see one good, foreign actor on a chinese tv show though. The foreigners on tv here are an embarassment...
