I don't think, In shanghai if a man married a woman he must have a house so many foreigners they don't. I know that that women's from hunnan prov they love foreigner man..
Well darling, why don't you go and find out! Hahaha, only joking. I don't think you can generalise like that, but you do see quite a lot of mixed race couples on the streets. If you're not completely ugly, fat and poor then you may have a chance finding a Shanghai woman, but only maybe.

Shanghaiese are arrogant and highly prejudiced.
They believe they are better than everyone else. If you do not speak the dialect you are treated like crap.
They also believe all foreigners are rich and can enhance their social standing. That is what it is all about in Shanghai, enhancing social standing.
It is not only in Shanghai I know for a fact that the woman of Suzhou are all over foreign men like bees to honey.
They don't necesarly love foreigners. they love their money, status, citizenship...
They don't love,they lost over material things..like Poutine said....just show them your bank account with a reasonable amount of money,they will automatically fall inlove with you though not all but 85% of them.

It sounds like the kind of generalisation a Chinese person would make like "Is it true all Americans are fat and eat fast food?" or "Is it true all English men are gentlemen, like doing the garden and have dogs?".
Big time generalisation- It´s like in America, I see lot of white women with black guys. It is easy to think that all white women like black guys and all white man like asians, because they stand out the most
But the truth is in Ameriva only 1% of the population are in mixed marriage, and for China it probably is something like 0,001%.

damn right loban... another point is that most white woman who date with black men in the US are uneducated and fat and usually are not accepeted by white men.
As in asian countrys like...japan,korea...usually the white guys will get the left overs..they usually get the ugly , tall, fat, loner type weirdos.
In china I would say you can still catch a decent one if your making enough money.
But most foreigners I see have a big football player chinese girl with dark skin and greesy hair.

unlike a poor country like vietnam or cambodia philipines...you could get top shelf quality as long as you have some money...but even there top shelf isnt that great.

I was married to a girl who lived in Shanghai but came from Zhumadian.. She was a lovely woman worked in bar . We fell in love and I made several trips to Shanghai.. Eventually she decided to divorce me.. that is the end of my fairy tale .. love story
historically, Shanghai was an international/economy hub with its people more exposed to the outside world. If you have ever seen and wondered why there are female imagines on the Chinese cookie wraps and cigarette boxes, those females were actually old time Shanghainese females stars; my point is shanghainese females have always been very independent, intelligent and exposed to the world (and the world's males)....so the likelihood of a shanghai girl dating a non-Chinese male is greater.
