I can tell you there is a shockingly disproportionate number of fatherless black-american children. I once read something like HALF of all black kids in the USA have an absent father. (either separated or gone entirely).

In the UK, sorry if this is 'stereotyping' but the fact is - if you saw a caucasian woman with a brown baby (mixed) it was very very likely the father is long gone and missing or separated. 

I'm not sure about China. The only black-chinese mixed person I ever heard about had the father 'run off' on them. But I don't know of any other examples?

Well, I can't say for sure, but let's just think about this logically. Percentage-wise, there aren't many Chinese who have relationships with foreigners. However, we hear about them all the time because they are considered "unusual."  Out of those foreigners dating Chinese, a much smaller percentage are black because there are many negative stereotypes here. Out of those, an even smaller amount end in pregnancy, so I highly doubt there are "a lot" of them. Out of those mothers with Chinese/black children, maybe a high percentage are single mothers, but I wouldn't say that's a lot of people. Also, isn't abortion a prevalent form of birth control in China?

The only case I have ever heard of was where a Chinese woman cheated on her husband with a black guy and had a baby. Her husband divorced her and she raised the child alone, and she was on some singing show, and that's why it was on Chinasmack. Logically speaking, I don't think there are a lot, and I'm going to call BS on this one.

Geez I hardly see any black people in China. I see them every once in a while and I do have to take a look. I'm not sure I don't even think you are black because you always act like a local. I have seen a few around Guangzhou but not in other parts of China.

I have only met one Chinese girl who has told me she wouldn't get pregnant for a black guy...Says she is afraid her kid would suffer discrimination in China. However, many other Chinese - male & female, with a higher percentage of female -  who encourage me to marry a Chinese girl always talk of how beautiful they think a black guy & Chinese girl's child would be. Most of them have told me they have seen such mixed blood children and found them lovely.  So seems it's just personal taste. I know this doesnt answer Crimochina's question...Just commenting on what others have raised here.

i dont really think its sterotype its fact that black men in the us do not take resposability i know one guy that is i his early twenties with 14 kids from 9 different woman cmon 

Umm, I'm not quite sure how the situation is in USA or Europe but in most countries in Africa there're hardly any single mothers. If a woman is a single mother it's probably because her husband is dead or something like that.
Most African men (my experience) don't hit and run.
Well, whatever. Reputation of black people is already f****d in every aspect and in every corner of the world. You just can't shake off the negativity and stereotypes. No matter what.

Outside of Guangzhou, I have not seen many black foreigners.  But I somewhat disagree with the comments about timid Chinese girls toward black men (which means i somewhat agree also, I guess)  I just hit my two year mark in China, I've had 2 serious relationships.  Both girls wanted to marry me and have my baby.  Another girl who I broke  with is now with another black guy.  Besides that, a few others are actively seeking me (I am actively dodging). The girls are from Fujian,Guangdong, Henan and Beijing, all over China. My point being,  I don't see much difference from my home country, America.  Some girls like black men, and some don't.  I haven't personally seen any evidence that the rumors are true.  Then again, how can you tell if a mother is single if you don't know her personally?

Last week I was walking by the garden hotel in Guangzhou, 5 different black guys approached me and ask me if I wanted to buy there drugs.

This might sound crazy but thats what I also thought when these low lifes were approaching me and putting there dirty hand on my shoulder and asking me if I want Chinese pussy or drugs.

Give china 20 more years of allowing foreigners and blacks into there country and you will see it almost identical to the US
