Lately, I have been pondering this question for awhile now. It seems the only thing that I can get is an exchange and sometimes not even that. So is it true that there is a "no refund" policy in China,..what gives!

Honestly I think people just don't like you. If I buy a bad product, my friendly neighborhood store owner will offer me a replacement and if it fails as well then I'll get my money back. (that has even happened at the copy market as well).
I second that motion.......
I bought a new refrigerator, and the store fail to deliver it at the promised date. When I contacted Gomz, I was told they had run out of the type I bought, and would take one month to deliver it. I asked for a more expensive replacement, they refused, and I said "I want my money back then", since I can buy it at another store. After a week of dragging their feet, I finally was refunded the money. It was not easy, but I got it done.
foreigners can take things back, or get their money back locals dont have the same luck get it matayayayayaya you cant get a refund because you are a local
I had no problems with refunding my broken umbrella after only 2 weeks.. cash in hand, no questions (other than "what's the problem", which I showed), paperwork, signature, money, done!
No it,s not true you! Don't let your mind wander. It's way to small to be outside by itself!
