Q: Is it true wives/gf don't go see the cops if they get beaten up by /husband/bf?

Something to do with "saving face" or such. Is it true?

There are no women's shelters in China... On paper they're equal but this IS a male dominated society....

In Europe now it is actually the men who are scared of the women.
Women have way more rights and god forbid a man raise his hand even joking.

Quite the opposite in China.
