Q: Is it true you can feed cows and goats to tigers in Harbin?

Maybe I've been missing something. Anyone heard about this? Something about lots of tigers in an open space, and for a certain amount of money you can have goats or cows thrown in?

Anyone know more about this and how much this type of thing would cost? Sounds insane...and amazing

Is true.

My friends went there, bought goat. They just throw goat over the wall and bunch of tigers waiting below rip it up. Maybe 15-20 tigers. I saw pictures and it's...interesting.

You can also buy a cow, I think maybe 800 RMB, and they roll in a small cart inside with the cow, which gets chopped up.

My friends said it's better to go early in day because at the end of day the tigers are quite full, and they play around with their food without eating. at the beginning of day theyre very hungry and rip everything up. More spectacle.

TedDBayer:

As the day goes by, it gets hotter and the cats get lazier in the heat. These are Chinese cats. Guilin has a big tiger zoo, I read 1500 tigers, never saw it but did ask about it.

I,ve been there and yup...it's 100% true. Gruesome stuff to say the least. The tigers will sometimes attempt to attack the bus you are in. Especially when you are feeding them a chicken thru a small chute from inside the bus. Crazy!!!

They do a feed the putty cat a live chicken in the afternoon

in January last year a dumb Bus driver got out of the bus and became breakfast

in the caged areas if you get to close you can be in quite a lot of trouble

especially if there is some real Chinese hero standing near by taunting the Tiger

FYI   the Chinese have limited knowledge or concept  of Work place health and Safetyindecision

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
