Q: iTouch keeps dying - where can I get a new battery in Beijing?

Been using the same iTouch for 2 years now, and it just dies on me after each recharge in less than a day. Where can I get the battery changed? How much would it cost?

You'll probably get a cheaper battery at one of the electronic markets. You could either go to Zhongguancun or check out 258 Electronic Market.

Your itouch seems fine to me. If you said it lasts less than a day that is how long itouches will last. You can't recharge an itouch and expect to use it 2 full days or even 3. That is normal! The itouch may only last up to 12 or 13 hours then it will start running low on battery. After about that time you would probably get a warning telling you to recharge it. My itouch does that too and every other itouch they ever made does it.

Hahaha.  It's an Apple product.  You can't change the battery unless you take it to be serviced at an Apple store where it will cost you about $80usd to get it "serviced".

A:If you earned a Master's Degree in English Literature or a related subject, you can teach English legally in China even if you don't hold a passport from the usually accepted list of countries. The visa requirements clearly specifies this “loophole”.Nonetheless, I think this requirement is only for teaching English. If you are a licensed teacher of another discipline, such as Math or Physics, you don't need to be a native speaker, although most schools would rather hire a teacher from a country where English is the native language.Right now China’s borders are closed (does anyone have new information?), at least that’s what everyone is saying. China is probably only going to reopen the borders again once most of the population is vaccinated, and that might take a while. -- samvelasco87
