Q: Jeans vs. suit pants

Generally speaking, which is cheaper: jeans or suit pants? How much is a common pair of suit pants?

Very vague question.... depends on brand.. if we consider same brands.. i think jeans are cheaper.. eg Lacoste.. Most of them are semi formal... so can wear at office...and the good part.... no nedd wash often... or iron... Smile

<There is a "wholesale" store here in town that sells pants and jeans, mostly "forged" ones, in bigger sizes too and thus visited by many foreigners. There, jeans run for 130 Rmb, and pants normally sell for 90 Rmb.  In reality they are seconds, slight imperfections, but if you take care of looking carefully, you can pick one that the imperfection is so small it is almost invisible.  I do most of my shopping there, in two years maybe bought six or seven.  Waist 36, length 30.  They have up to waist 56 and 34 length.

Which city and where would that be? Need to get some jeans that doesn't cost 1000 rmb.

If you ever visit Nanning, in Guangxi Province, send me a PM and we could meet and I will take you to that place,  It is maybe 10 minutes from downtown, about 6 blocks away from the Computer Building.
