Yes. We have one at china construction bamk.

Either of us can make a deposit but both have to show ID at the same time to withdraw anything. The bank app allows everything but funds transfer.

Just asked my wife and she says she doesn't know. What did your wife say?

Though I've heard that "joint accounts" here is the husband having an account and giving the card to his wife! wink

You can get 'joint-bank-account' at any bank in China.

I am not sure if they call it 'joint account', but every checking account permits two (or more) ATM cards and 'voila'.

'Joint' person can be anyone account holder decides to give second ATM card.

That's simpleton 'joint', but you can also take joint-person to the bank and bank will issue 2nd ATM with another person's name and access to the same account.

Did you know word 'joint' has several meanings  ?
