Report on inflammatory and disturbing statement on public website!

My name is xxxxx., xxxxx nationality, EU citizen, working in Fukang, Xinjiang, as Oral English teacher.

I am seeking advice on the matter concerning 'US Department of Justice public image'. There was post on 'eChinacities' website this morning by poster with handle 'JustinF', and title 'Western males are phaedophiles'.

http://answers.echinacities.com/question/western-males-are-paedophiles?

JustinF is claiming, this is report from the US Justice Department, which I find hard to believe. Poster didn't confirm statement with US Justice Department web link.

Beside untrue statement, post is overall generalisation directed mostly to the Western English teacher users of eChinacities public website.

Is there possibility, you could confirm or deny poster's statement?

Not related to your answer, I will file suit in Chinese Court against JustinF for 'defamation'.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you please provide full name, address and nationality of the poster JustinF to my email address, or my mailing address:

 xxxxxxxxxxxxFukang, Xinjiang

I am not certain about 'Native English...' in my title. I will visit PSB this week, and seek their advice!

It's not really trolling! I am looking for 'info from US Embassy, about statement on public tread about US Gov. org. I might don't get anywhere, cause 'contact us' is for US citizens only.

I'll see what PSB have to say. If they agree with you, then we can freely write about any Gov. orgs , being from Botswana or from Xinjiang....I'll might get some extra 'moonlightnig' hours at PSB, too

JustinF:

You should be deported for teaching English with such horrible horrible horrible English skills. By the way, don't the new China employment laws make it illegal for non-native English speaking foreigners to be employed as English teachers in China?

Well, he seems to be a really angry guy. I feel compassion for him, to be so angry, one have to be seriously in pain. He seems quite articulate, I don't feel he is flaming just to watch a fire.

Here, most of us (that includes me), are hammering heavily on all the wrong things we perceive in China. I can understand than reading our rants here can feel like a violent attack if you feel very attached to all things Chinese. One possible reaction is denial and a feel to fight back as violently... Yep, it hurts. But then, many of us are living in China and lives completely immersed in the Chinese society, looking at it with our own eyes. Don't assume we understand absolutely nothing because it does not fit your own world's conception.

What we see is ugly, so ugly it burns the retina, the brain and the soul. With time, you need to speak, because it;s too much to keep for oneself. So we rant here and try to rationalize our experience. Group therapy. Justin, if you never put the foot in China, come work here one year and you might understand. Or you had an absolutely horrible experience, whatever it is. Share it, relieve yourself !

Or maybe, you are Chinese and you feel awfully angry to see foreigners being so hard about your country ? Then, you might understand where we come from by travelling out of China, alone, by yourself, blending with the locals like us do here. Spend a few months, and come back to China. And some of our ramblings might start to make sense. Making blatantly racist comments won't make you feel better, it's just a devouring rage that won't relieve any pain at all.

icnif77:

It's the title of his post, what gets me going, backed apparently by US Gov. org. Impossible! Lawyers would have field day, if true.

Now, if I would write that, you probably couldn't accuse me, I knew what I was writing. But, he knew exactly what he said. And 'dead Gov. web link' as proof!

I had to repeatedly read tread about 'comments disappearing', to cool down.

I'm reading more interesting blog on Reuters: 'The coming Slav crash'. I'll get link out.

Mr_spoon:

As I mentioned before, I have quite a few Chinese classmates in my major, who have all been in France for a few years.

Since they know I speak Chinese and kind of understand their culture, they're usually VERY opened to share their opinions of my people and culture in my presence, in a really harsh way. Sometimes I would get slightly offended, but then I would remember that I do the same thing about China.

Long story short, we bitch about China, but Chinese people abroad also bitch about our respective countries. EVERYONE does that. But those who haven't seen much won't understand.

How is this topic still active after more than 24hrs? It's not even a question related to China.

Clearly the Admin isn''t doing a proper job on here.

Wait a minute... I have a really good idea. Let's stop all the personal insults and mudslinging. Even me. Isn't that a neat concept?!

I took post (during my Sunday lunch) about 'Westerners are child abusers' as very personal! I mostly work with kids in China! That's Craig, IMHO!
