KFC buggers who? Outrageous. Not impossible I guess, but the idea is a bit outlandish. Why would you accuse them of such a thing? Do you have video?

I hate them.

Now, dont get me wrong, I like to munch on a chicken burger once in a while, but the reason why I hate them is the chicken bucket bucket.  Allow me to explain.

Used to be I could pay 64RMB  and later on 72 RMB for a bucket of chicken.

Now, they will  not sell it to you. They will sell you the bucket with two burgers for something like 84 RMB. If you say you want the bucket without the burger, they will tell you they dont have it. When you point out that it is the same flippin' thing just no burger, they will refuse to sell it to you. Gotta be the bucket WITH the 2 burgers for 84 RMB.

I hate being strong armed into buying something I dont want, so I just leave.  This has happened in various  KFC shops all over Beijing.

People are such sheep here, they buy what the shop "tells them" to buy and food is wasted.

On the plus side, it is helping me stick to my diet, so I guess I should not complain....

The thing that makes me laugh is the so called "24 Hour Service". Sure, they are open twenty four hours but the service during the night hours is somewhat lacking (though the day time service is often not much better). I often take early flights when I go out on business which requires taking a shuttle bus to the airport at 05:30. When I am waiting for the bus, I sometimes pop into KFC because it is the only place open at that time of the morning. The service is restricted to a few burgers that are prepared the night before then wrapped in foil and placed in a heated cabinet. Coffee is available from a dispensing machine but is never fresh. And invariably, you have to wake the staff up to get any attention.
