I have a question regarding all the posts recently from teachers about what to do in their class: How can you be teachers and NOT know how to teach your class?? If you have to ask questions as basic as these, such as how to do a demo, ask yourself, are you prepared to be a teacher ???
CARLGODWIN1983:
They're illegal and they clearly have little education background. They are also definitely not natural competent English speakers. Just look at the posts' layouts, lack of paragraphing, spelling, punctuation and so on.

that's my thinking as well. I am prepared to help, but seriously, if you are too lazy even do the basic ground-work yourself: WTF? People on this board will eventually get tired and ignore the genuine questions.

For that age group you want to get yourself a shit-load of flashcards. Make them yourself, i've made hundreds over the years. Tons of good games to play with those.
Lay out 4/5 or 6 and:
Drill them with a hammer.
Say a card and get kids to point to it.
Say a card and get pairs to race to pat it.
Pat a card and mouth the word and get kids to say it.
Pat a card and get them to say it plus the one before.
Cover a card and get them to guess.
Show a card quickly and get them to guess.
Put them in a line and get them to walk along it and say all in 30 seconds (others can call out and help them to keep the rest involved) after which they can throw a ball at a target on the board from where they end up for points.
Give them a card each and walk from one to the other with an inflatable hammer to knock them on the head. They have to say another kid's card to make you change direction.
Put them all on the ground and get the class to race to pick up the one you call out.
Stick them around the room and get them to race to the one you call out.
Put a card on the backs of a pair of kids and have them try to point and say their opponents card.
Give pairs a card each, get them to stand back to back then turn around quickly and see who says the other's card first.
Put picks on the board and have kids say a card then throw soggy paper at the pic for points.
Show only the name on the card and see if they can say it.
Have pairs compete to write card names in a relay style.
There are plenty more complex games to do with flashcards but those are enough to keep you busy. That's what i'd be doing with that age group anyway.
