Learn to whistle kids tunes , they love that sort of stuff. Guaranteed to make the kids smile

andyinshenyang:

Couldn't agree more! Just walk into the classroom whistling and just to that for the first five minutes, nothing else.  The kids will love it and the parents will think you're great!

I'd say set limits with your children first then let the fun and happy teacher inside of you play it's part in class, but if the kids don't listen then it's time to reactivate the limits and set an example to the other children in class.

Always use to time wisely, take time to relax, Kindergarten is a "one day at a time" job, never think about what kindergarten will be like tomorrow.. It'll also help if you have a hobby at work, like studyuing Chinese or something like that, kindergarten gives us a lot of free time, depending on where you work.

I would suggest being a pupil in your class yourself, first.

I almost ran out of breath reading that ^.

Also, how about some full-stops, capital letters, commas?

Fortunately, you will just be a foreign face for the kindergarten.

Nobody can answer to you 'how to make kids happy'. Come to the Kindergarten, and try it by yourself. You should have 'some talent', to 'make kids laugh as soon as they see me'! LOL

In one Kindergarten, Principal asked me to 'pls., come on time!'. I always came at least 10' earlier, butt.....as soon as angelkids saw me, they started a 'riot'.

Most Kindergartens have their own teaching material. Look into that after your 'touch-down' in China, first. Then, add your own lessons to Kindergarten's curriculum.

Yo, Mr anon Kindergarden Teacher:

Howzabout a little tip: Get some training!

Second tip: If training is out of the question, put on a bright orange wig of curls, a clown nose, polka-dot shirt, baggy pants held up by green and pink suspenders, and oversized shoes with a whoopee cushion in the left shoe and a bicycle horn in the right shoe. Then dance as fast as your contract requires you to teach. Use a plush doll or hand puppet - preferably a frog - to be your straight man in class.

Third tip: Stop pestering this board with junk you can research on the Internet yourself. What the fuck? You want the board members to do your homework for you?

Finally, check out all those friggin' links sent by another board member to a previous post of yours. Yowza!

And good luck on day one with the kiddies! Be brave!

CARLGODWIN1983:

I thumbed you up (Here on the board, not in life) because I can see you are quite a sly fox.

A good sly fox though.

Agree with all that you said (See other threads).
