Recently i met this guy. We had dinner together and had a good conversation. He told me a lot of stories when he was young and things about his family. When it came the time we should say goodbye, he hugged me and kissed me on the forehead and said good night. I did not expect that he would do so.
Will a man kiss a woman on the forehead only to show his friendship and polite? (btw, he is a western.)

Mean he is polite to you.....Kiss on forehead litertally mean "bless you"...
If you were on "dating" dinner, it may means he is kinda serious considering dating you....with no rush and respect ....
But with all "bad" assuming he is very shy person! and he got a gf/wf already..he is hesitated!
Westeners do not have any problem showing affection or gratitude.
A kiss on your forehead (or on a cheek) at the end of a date means he was happy with it, he respects you, and nothing else. You can compare it with shaking hands in a way.
In Western countries, it is perfectly normal to greet a friend from the opposite sex with a kiss on the cheek, some kiss one side only, others kiss both sides. The same when departing.
So, do not "read" much into that action, except that the guy respects you and followed what was natural for him.
Ice, it was a very sweet and polite gesture. He is probably worth going out with a second time
You will be pregnant in a week.

What? You never heard the old saying, "Kiss on the head, the rabbit is dead." :)
He's going to kill you.... - wait, is he in the Italian or Russian mafia???
How old is this guy?
I see it as either - an older guy who sees you as a daughter-like figure, and it is an indication of both comfortable companionship and caring, and respect/friendship - OR he is a little interested in you and wanted to gauge your reaction to see if something else might happen - but he's playing it safe so he doesn't scare you off (ie, he's a bit shy...).
IFF you're interested in him, best way to play it is to tell him you had a REALLY great time, and you'd love to do it again - smile like a love-struck teenager and watch his face! If you get a good smile and a light in his eyes, he's interested. If it's a bit more subdued, then he respects you, and isn't interested in much more. (listen for his tone of voice when he responds too!!)
If you're NOT interested in him like that, rip his heart out and say "I'm glad we had that night - you seem like a really NICE FRIEND to have around - btw, do you know any cute single guys I could date?"
