I'm not trying to be mean, but really, use some common sense. Think about it. If you can't figure it out, then you probably shouldn't be in business.

I think you need to develop a trusted source first, either through a Chinese friend, or by coming to China perhaps. Until then it is a big risk, one that I would never take.

If you're a distributor and buying in bulk 50+ laptops.
Then there is nothing wrong with buying unbranded laptops directly from Compal, Clevo, or Quanta (use their website to contact them). This is what companies like Dell, HP, and Asus do. If your laptops need repair then you need to do it yourself as you would become an official distributor and those Chinese companies are only parts suppliers.

If you're only buying one laptop, then of course you should use end-user channels such as tmall.com or amazon.cn.  Just be aware that you will have to send it back to China if you want your laptop repaired (not cool!).

If you want to deal with a very trustworthy USA company that can ship anywhere in the world, take a look at Xoticpc.com. XoticPC can become your system builder and you can order in bulk from them just as you can order in bulk directly from parts distributors. The difference is, if you order from XoticPC, your parts will come assembled but if you order from the parts manufacturers, you'll just get boxes of parts that you'll need to hire people to put together.

XoticPC gives nice bulk discounts.

Hate to sound like a shill for XoticPC, but they've been good to me in the past so they deserve credit where credit is due.

Dealing with other people or companies that aren't named above is probably not a good idea.
