It probably depends what you're looking to buy.
A 14 inch chunk of solid plastic or rubber with no moving parts for example might be ok, it's hard to imagine anyone being able to feck that up (err - no pun intended) but imagine the embarrassment of having a metre long string of 'love beads' coiled up inside and the string - which happened to the cheapest, weakest product on the market because..of course - broke when you tried to pull them out. I don't think any doctor would believe your 'friend' pushed you and you fell on them at a very strange angle.
