Q: Linking bank card to wechat problems
I've tried linking my CMB card to no avail. The bank people said my information is all correct and it's probably a wechat problem. So which bank cards have you successfully linked to wechat?

ICBC, no problem. Took me all of 5 minutes to set up
its very very easy..
the only problem is your name. you have to figure out how your bank has written it in the database
eg. John Smith could be written as:
1. John Smith. 2. JohnSmith 3. Smith John. 4. SmithJohn.. In my case it was the last one but I figured it out easily coz whenever I logged in online banking it was written in bold letters: welcome to online banking Mr Option number 4....
if your name contains a middle name..problem increased...

my issue exactly..... but I can login to my bank and copy exactly what they have ..... it still tells me I do not know my name. I have given up... don't even try anymore. wechat telling me i DON'T KNOW MY NAME..... how much of that can a guy take?

And if your name is hyphenated, or spaced.... Emmy-Lou Van Den Berg... you're in for a world of pain!
(I have one of the latter.. and it's very non-standard!)
I connected my CMB card to wechat a while ago. As Hunny797 says.....you might need to try a few combinations of your name!
why would anybody want to connect their personal bank card to their wechat problems? Just get a girlfriend: then you can occasionally give your money drain a jolly good seeing to.
I have tried every variation of spacing of my name possible. It still does not work. I might just start from scratch with a new bank. Banks suck.
