Q: List your favourite Chinese dishes
Many of you say the food is so great. I didn't have anything that blew me away. I had Beer Fish , baby lobsters. mostly I ordered chicken breast items etc. So list and describe your favourite dishes, then I'll know what to look for.
Too many to list but for the last few weeks, I had been having an awful lots of mala xiangguo (numbing spicy fragrant pot?).
Guilin Mifeng!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know guilin is famous for noodles and i wanted to see a noodle maker, but i never had noodle in guilin.
Jilin sweet and sour, Jiangsu stir-fried veggies, Guangzhou seafood dishes, Yangzhou fried rice, KFC's Beijing burrito (yeps, the one with the sweet sauce) 
Gobarou....excuse the spelling here. You know it, some sort of deep fried pork
Rice noodles, same as GuilinRaf.
Boiled jiaozi, not the steamed ones.
Dan chao fan is also a timeless classic.
Hot pot, Sichuan, BBQ (the cook your own ones with the charcoal in the middle of the table). I have been to quite a few of these little hole in the wall Muslim resturants that do some sensational lamb mince in pastry and dim sum things that are great dipped in chilli sauce. My partner makes the best celery or chive dumplings (as good as any I have had in even the best resturants). I like them boiled steamed or even fried and I dip them in a mix of chilli sauce and vinegar.
Dumplings, those rice flour balls with the sesame paste inside I can't remember the name of, hot pot (especially the thin meat slices and skinny white mushrooms), fresh jujubes, lotus root?, duck meat

Deep fried tofu, skewered shrimp on a stick smothered in peppers and green beans also smothered in peppers (Hunan).
Some people here must hate Chinese food judging by all the thumbs down, so I felt obliged to give you all a thumbs up....are we at battle again?
Fried pita like bread stuffed with slices of chicken, mushrooms, veggies (if is want to feel healthy), and of course lots of spices.
I should thumbs down you all for making me hungry. But I can't do it.....
