Going off another topic this is probably Kate, with the school problems. Why not register an account Kate? You'll be welcome here.

Thanks for the links icnif77, but the first link is a doctor that works for the NEI in the US, not GZ. The second link is an organization represented by a hospital not in GZ (in Zhongshan). The third link, CanAm, does not provide eyecare services [at least not directly]. Lastly, the LASIK link is 10 years old/dated and has no referrals.  Do you know any name of a doctor in GZ (Chinese or foreign) that can perform an eye exam speaking English and has knowledge of RK, LASIK and DPRK?

icnif77:

No unfortunately, I don't know any eye doctor. I have tendencies to stay away as far as possible from any doctor. These links I got on GOOGle. You could use 'Contact us' on the web links for more info. on English speaking MD in Guangzhou.

Try Guangzhou Expat website:

A:Well, doing a medical exam ahead of time wasn't actually necessary. I signed a promissary note stating that I was in good health and would do the result once I arrived in China. This was enough. -- norninman
