Q: Is March 14th celebrated in China?

Things like valentines day, halloween and xmas has been picked up in this country. Is anyone celebrating March 14th? Or is it just too damn difficult to get a decent steak in China?

EDIT: Of course I do not mean March 15, but 14.

Sorry, as an American, I'm unaware of what is actually celebrated on the Ides of March.  However, 2 days later...we all know what Saint Patrick's Day is about winkwinkwink

Yep, I've already got a date scheduled at the semi-local Irish Pub.  More than a few Guinness's will be knocked back wink

International Day for Protecting Consumer's Rights? Smile

Scandinavian:

Wishful thinking. Maybe in another part of the world, but not China. Mind you, see I wrongfully said 15, should be 14.

I have no idea of what special significance March 15th is.

Off to google I do go..............

Edit, OK Hungarian national holiday for their revolution, or Ides of March, so unless you are Hungarian, a Shakespeare expert, Julius Ceaser or Brutus, I don't see any reason for celebration.
