Q: Marry in home country chinese wife which visa to get at C. Embassy

Can I get a residence permit at a chinese embassy in my home country when I show them we married recently, yet have not married in china?

Nope. You need a visa to enter a country. They will issue you a visa that you convert to an RP after arrival.

It's a Q visa you want to apply for. There are 2 classes. Q1 and Q2. You need to use the interweb to find the difference.

 

One involves a literal anal probe. The other does not. Roll your dice and take your pick.
