Q: mental stability at the top of government

a few years ago, republicans in the u.s decided that sarah palin was a perfectly sensible choice for the 2nd most important position in the country. that her intellectual prowess would create a vision for the future, inspiring a new golden age of enlightenment. people would gaze into the horizon, in deep thought, wondering if they can see russia from thier house.

then the true american patriots voted for a reality tv host who promised to bring the "best" people into government. Let's examine some of this group of wondrous political talents:

1.scott pruitt.Locked his office, wasn't in work most of the time. insisted on armed guards at all times, even in his office. demanded security use sirens in non-emergency situations. asked for desks worth 150 000, wanted constant access to a private jet................ the list of controversies goes on for about 1500 words on the wikipedia page. he has a long history of doing this but trump's gut told him he'd be a terrific head of epa

2.ivana and jared. move your daughter and son in law into some of the most prominent positions in government.

3. michael flynn. trump recieved a lot of advice that this person had bad ethics and was really unsuitable for government. trump made his national security advisor. worked out well

4. scarramucci. lasted under one month. experience in governance, zero

5. sean spicer. not exactly given an easy job with all the lies. most people would have a break down defendind such utter stupidity

6. steve bannon. extreme right wing views. clever but not clever enough to not attack the mpderates so viciously. especially the president's daughter, that s only gonna get you fired. a blind man could have seen he was unsuitable for government.

7. sebastian gorka. made up cv, expert on nothing. just another dont ask me question i don't like battering ram.

8. tom price. serious corruption charges

9.omarosa. what kind of people does he bring in? this woman brought in a recording device to a secure room. he brings in absolute fools.

10. rob porter. serial woman beater. this was known but ignored

11. hope hicks. from model to communications chief. her job was to let trump tweet any old shit that comes out his crazy unhinged brain. she did her job well

12. maany many more.

before trump and maybe palin, i always assumed democracies make the mature choices in the end. the majority oof people are not the crazies who vote on the basis of whoever statisfies their  anger, but vote with patriotic pride, sense of history and laws, even if political outlooks are different. but this hasn't turned out to be the case and the people in the white house and those who have left, caused america to look like an absolute joke and has cheapened democracy everywhere. they are corrupt and incompetent and unsurprizingly the turnover has been a total debacle.

could this happen in a non-democratic country. i know stupid corrupt people can reach high government anywhere, but could they reach the absolute pinnacle of government in any large non-democratic governemnt as in the states?

How many incompetent people did the last president  fire or ask for there resignation?

How many Goldman Sach's money men did the last president put in the cabinet?

Turnover is good, I hope he fires everybody twice, bureaucrats not held accountable is how we ended up with Trump.

Good, bad or indifferent, When was the last time we had a 4 percent gdp growth and unemployment among blacks is the lowest in the history of keeping the records.

What exactly did the last guy "the black nobel peace prize savior of the world " do for blacks except knock their wealth in half and double there unemployment.

I'll take chaos and growth over slick elites looking presidential all day long, screw the Ivy league no it alls from both parties. If you want to get rich watching the middle class decline and say it is for our own good, go screw another country and get to  hell out  of mine.

dokken:

i beg to differ. republicans started this mess. reagan was the first president to really fuck up the american economy.  tax cuts and increased spending. who was the last president to have a surplus? clinton, not a republican. then a republican bush, again with tax cuts and increased spending. obama had to fix the economy after a huge crash. it wasnt a normal period. how quickly should a democrat clean up a republican mess

you honestly think trump has had that much of an effect? he's only been less than two years. any president would have a good economy right now. the dems set it on a good course as was expected of them

now don't tell me this is business as normal. obama had goldman sachs ex employess because most admininstrations would have. the top people in finance work for top salaries at the biggest institutions. you wanted obama to employ an ex model for communication director?

omarasa, scarramucci, pruitt?????????????????????? this is not business as normal, and there is no way you can compare bush or obama employess to the  total farcical mess happenening now.

also why do you mention obama s skin color everytime you mention him. you should say half white if you want to be accurate. maybe you shluld just do what normal people do, don't mention his skin color unless there is a reason to do so. you obviously have some kind of weird hang up like many in the alt right movement

it's personal, I went to school with the pot smoking lazy ass piece of shit at Columbia when he was celebrating and high fiving classmates in a lecture hall because he thought Reagan was dead but lived through the bullet shot under his arm, his name was different then and he changed it in Canada oddly, and he does have a Connecticut social security number and never lived or worked there. So the secret to a good economy is 8 years of low growth and then you get credit when the next guy comes in, I seem to remember the tax cuts for Reagan growed the economy and doubled revenues to the government in 8 years, I guess that was coincidental. Trump is not owned by anybody, democrats buying votes with freebie, republican buying wars and weapons, he is a wild card that had to deal with crooks from both sides in New York. If the idiots from both sides had not screwed over America, he would not be in office. I do like him talking shit with great lies on topics that the press always hide and not talk about, so at least people are aware of the truth, his methods are very unorthodox, but I look at results not outrage from elite people who think I am a deplorable. I have never watched fake wrestling, the apprentice, or any reality TV and never will but I hope he blows up the whole damn city before he leaves. the mental hoops, outrage, inflammatory remarks. its all theater and PR, there is no such thing as bad press, his own words, he being playing people in the media for 30 years, enjoy the show, he is just getting started.

there was always gonna be a long period of low growth. the number changed middle of 2016. i remember the bank of england saying it would take america many years to get growth to what it should. he was right. expecting instant fix so unrealistic. deep down you don't believe trump is an economic genius.

you knew obama. really were you best buddies?what did he do to you. pork your gf with his half white ****. he was lazy. he became a constitutional law professor by not studying? even if you are justified why the hell do you need to mention his skin color. it's not relevant to what you are saying. it's maybe acceptable in hickville missisipi but not on a forum with people from all over

because he was never black until he dumped a white professor and joined a radical church in Chicago in his mid 30's and acted like he cared about them, they were played, even Jesse Jackson knew they were played, and the result will be a great black American will never have a chance of being elected president for a century because he screwed up so badly. He cheated through Columbia and never wrote a paper when he ran the Harvard Law Review, he had a ghost writer for his books, I am used to politicians being lousy and Bush was worse than the great savior, but he ruin advancement and put race relations back 40 years, but most people don't see the long run consequences and the damage, history will prove I am right, it's just such a shame that the media never vetted the guy and gave him such a pass on scrutiny. This could have all been avoided, 70 percent of white voters voted for him and they will never do that again, such a shame.

record revenues with those lousy tax cuts that are terrible for the economy, peculiar, same thing happened with Reagan and Kennedy when they cut taxes. just a coincidence.

I would like to believe that but the truth is the left has pushed white guilt and white privilege so much that most said, ok, ok, i will vote for him if you stop hounding me and calling me a racists, and they did what they wanted and it did not help and he made things worse for blacks than before. there are many closet racists that gave the benefit of the doubt and felt like fools, 7 million white voters for Obama switched and voted for Trump, they feel they were played and they feel foolish and they will raise there kids to think the same way. I hope I am wrong but like Michael Moore, I know these people. Nobody votes on policy unless its really bad, hope and change and get out of wars, how did that work out? I know the policies of bernie sanders but I have no idea what clinton's policies were unless you read her website. People vote for the person, Hussein was a smooth talking gentlemen that could convince you that the world was a pot of gold, so is Trump, I don't believe policy matters to anyone but the politically active on the left and right and that leaves about 40 percent that just don't pay attention or care.

This is not just America, we see the same type of thing in Europe and I guess most western countries. We have had enough of left wing liberal views being forced down our throats, being told that multicuturalism is good, that being anything other than what our dna makes us is real and not a mental illness, being told we must have equality of outcome rather than equality of opportunity, having groups like blm who seem strangely silent when blacks are killed by blacks and having dumbed down education systems. People then start looking at the alternative to these views and find that there really is not much choice, if any. People will vote for anyone offering what seems to be a rebuttal of these ideas, I agree with the point of not knowing the policies, but they vote with heart not head. America has the potential to be great again, as does western europe but we have been sold down the river and it is going to be a very hard, long swim if we are to recover that greatness.

Stiggs:

On top of the book there's the letter to the New York Times.

When (assuming it's true) White House officials feel they need to protect the country from Trump and pretty much confirm what the books say about him that's got to be a massive wake up call.

There was a thing in the news a few days ago saying Kanye West is the latest celebrity considering a run at the POTUS job - I hope he does run just to see how many people would actually vote for him, I wouldn't be all that surprised if he even won.

The world these days is starting to feel like a Twilight Zone episope about alternate realities or something, it's an interesting time to be living in.

If you live in New York people are rude and assholes everywhere, Trump just brought New York city manners to the White House and every one has their knickers in a wad because it's supposed to be nice polite tolerant society in Wash. D.C., the funny thing is now that it's changed, I hope it never goes back to ass kissers, it's supposed to be confrontational and not a bunch of compromising corportists shills and wimps. All New Yorkers are rude assholes, that does not mean they are crazy. If we start having democrat and republican congressman and senators breaking out in fist fights at work, then I will go back to America and campaign for Trumps reelection, now we have our country back from corporations, but I am not holding my breath for that.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
