No, they went out of business last Nov 2022. Meten is 100% Gone, not bought, no changed name, it didn't even pay people their last salary. There are some Youtube videos floating around the news about it.

If you think about the numbers as ... '300 million English students .. in China ..' and you are an English teacher ... you have to have a similar feelings as you would struck a large gold deposits as a precious metals prospector ...

They, '.gov' had to put stop to it.

I really don't understand why Meten English stopped working

.... all such org., i.e. Language schools had to close down and they (Meten among many others ...) did ...
