Q: Money scam...be ware QQ users
Please forgive me, this is not a question but I just don't know where to put this warning. There is a money scam on QQ - some hacker is using people's QQ accounts to ask for money from the user's qq friends. Last night I got a message from a Chinese friend in UK who said one of her friends had already fallen victim to this. This morning the hacker got into the account of another friend of mine ( who is in China) and was asking for money from me( in both cases it's 5,000 RMB). When I called this friend she told me she was not asking for money from anyone. I then confirmed it's a scam. Just thought QQ users on this forum should take note of that. I suggest you warn all your QQ friends.

This is an on-going scam. The scam has been around for a very long time a few years . They collect your details or ask your permission for invites as a friend. After chatting a little they are really learning about you getting prepared to scam you or your friends. Or hy just take your details from QQ. They then make contact to family or friends claiming the urgent need to financial assistance. Very often many do not think about being scammed so just pay the funds. CAUTION is the word of the day, every day when in China. QQ is fine when used with caution, however it is full of liars, cheats and scammers.
