Q: Mooncakes. Better for eating or for throwing at the person who cuts you in line?

You could try throwing them at impolite people.  But all they'd do is pick it up and think less of the laowai.  They would continue to be oblivious of their antisocial behaviour.

They aren't any good at all for eating I'm afraid.

Today I gave a gift box of them to the school to give out to the winners at the sports carnival.  I was re-gifting it.

The school sports carnival is a whole other topic.  In the end I was glad they were just ignoring the gift box, as surely no one deserved any reward for effort.

Convert your mooncakes into moonbricks by freezing them in the freezer, then toss em at impolite folks...

slightly off topic but i keep a box of eggs past sell by date in car and I hurl them at lorry drivers' windscreens if they put my life in danger (and i survive obviously). suppose mooncakes might be a good alternative but they only come out once a year.
