Some of the Hollywood movies has special endings that you have to wait and see. I was wondering why they just cut the film before it finishes all the way through and why do they want to get the customers out so quickly? The credits are important to some people and with the special endings with some movies people like to stay and see all of it. Why?
They want you to go as soon as possible so they can clan up the mess you make in theatre.
Like you said, the credits are important to some people, but a majority of cinema goers here don't care about the credits at all. As soon as the movie ends, the people just start filing out, regardless if the credits are on or not.
As for the special endings, I've never seen any posters or whatever in the cinemas here saying the movie has "an extra 30 secs of never before seen footage" or something.
when the typical cinema audience has sat through a movie talking on their phone and QQ'ing they are not going to worry about also missing the rest of the movie.
