Q: My kids are in Chinese public school , can get student visa?

my 2 kids go to primary and midle school , can they ask for turist visa?, they are 8 and 13 Greek passport

You could get reliable information about visas (in English language) at Public Security Bureau in the city.  

 

 

You could also ask (online or phone) at your Embassy in Beijing.

Dear Friends , What make you believe that my embassy has such online service ? they even accept customers for inquiries from 09:30 to 11:30. Phones are usually busy , or keep it ringing. Sorry for the the black humor

On the bottom of the Beijing Embassy page there are 3 listed Consulates:- Shanghai- Guangzhou- Hong Kong. Next to the 'Consulates', you will see text  'I'd like to ask about' :- Visa- Tourism- Culture- Press- Events- Business. Click 'Visa', and send them your question in Greek, if you like.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
